There may be cases where a domain name is successfully transferred to Domain India, yet the domain name remains inactive in the Control Panel. This can occur due to the following reasons:
When a domain name transfer is completed, the registry modifies the domain name and extends its registration period by one year. The registry then notifies Domain India about the successful transfers through a daily report. Upon receiving this report, the system automatically activates all successfully transferred domain names in the database.
However, if there is a delay in the delivery of the daily report, the domain name cannot be automatically activated in the system, causing it to remain inactive. Typically, this issue is resolved within 24-48 hours.
If the problem persists for more than 48 hours, follow these steps to seek assistance from our support team:
Ensure that you have waited at least 48 hours since the domain name transfer was completed.
Confirm that your domain name is still inactive by checking its status in the Domain India Control Panel.
If the domain name remains inactive, contact our support team by submitting a support ticket through the Control Panel or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Provide the necessary details, such as the domain name in question and the date the transfer was completed.
