Reasons for “508 Resource Limit Is Reached” Error





This error message can occur due to several reasons. Most of the time, it occurs due to below given reasons:
Large Number of Registration on WordPress Blog –Most of the time, new WordPress administrator allows everyone to register on their WordPress blog. As a result several spammers register at the same time. Due to this, the resource exceeds the limit and causes “508 Resource Limit Is Reached” Error.




High Traffic – This error also occurs sometimes due to High amount of traffic on your WordPress Blog.
Use of so Many Plugins – Some hosts add limits in the number of wordPress Plugin usages. When you cross this limit, the “508 Resource Limit Is Reached” Error occurs.
Faulty Script – If some of your pages has heavy script which affects the speed of site then a small number of concurrent page request can consume lots of resources and thus generates the above mentioned error message.
Large Number of Requests per Second – I always advise bloggers to limit the request per seconds of web crawlers. You can do this via Web master Tools.




Problem in Back-end Operations– Sometimes, import and Export operation can increase lots of pressure on your server’s resources in addition to the traffic which comes on your site.

 

In case you face 508 error at your website, telling that "Resource Limit Is Reached", it means that your account started overusing allocated resources.
